How does DentiHire work for a Job Seeker?

Answer

Our goal is to match you with Hiring Professionals looking for candidates with your specific skills and interest (such as Full Time/Part Time, Geographical limitations, Language, etc). Upon setting up a profile and providing job preferences, DentiHire will begin recommending job opportunities and getting your profile in front of any and all Hiring Professionals that are best aligned to you.

To make your search more personal and to help you learn more about potential jobs, we allow both Hiring Professionals and Job Seekers to review pre-recorded introduction videos that address the most common interview questions. If you like what you see and have an interest in the opportunity, you can send an interview request, and likewise, if a Hiring Professional likes what they see in you, they’ll send you one. When a request is accepted, we’ll share your contact information and you’ll be well on your way to landing that new job!

How can I keep track of my connections?

Answer

Managing your connections is easy. Once you’re connected, all contacts will be displayed on your Connections page in the order by which you’ve connected. From here, you can view phone/email information, view additional employment opportunities for your new connection, or even interview live with our interactive video chat feature. This is great to start interviewing immediately if travel would otherwise delay the first live (in-person) interview.

What if I don’t live in the area I eventually want to work in?

Answer

You are able to select a multitude of states, counties, or cities that you may prefer to work. You may still be in school or looking to move soon. Why wait until you are in your final destination to start connecting and interviewing? Select your desired location as part of your job preferences and start connecting with recommended Hiring Professionals. Once you are connected, you can use our interactive video chat to arrange interviews immediately.

Answer

There are many benefits to using video technology for screening job seekers or Hiring Professionals. After all, it’s about finding the right fit. With live video interviews, you have most of the benefits of a live (in person) interview without the additional expense and stress of actually meeting (especially if the candidate would need to travel a long distance or is finishing up their dental program/residency). Additionally, it provides an added level of convenience to meet in the comfort of your own home or while traveling.

Sometimes your best job candidates are the ones who currently don’t yet live in close proximity yet. There are many job seekers who don’t work in the area they attended their dental program or residency, and often times, these could be the best candidates for you. A job seeker can select any place they want to work, and if that place matches your office location and your respective job requirements, DentiHire will bring you together.

Can I post more than one job?

Answer

Yes! You may post multiple jobs (Office Staff, Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, Dentist, etc.) at any given time. However, DentiHire does limit you to one JOB POSITION posting per OFFICE LOCATION to avoid redundancy. For example, if you have two openings for a dental assistant in the same office location, you don’t need to create two separate postings. You would just keep that posting open until you fill both positions. However, if you need two dental assistants, (one for two separate office locations) you may have two separate Job postings.
